Arnold was a friend of Rachel Lang. He hates the football team because of their tyrannical attitude. He warned Rachel about Tracy Campbell. He wished to be at the party, but he was not allowed. Rachel promised him she would see what she could do and it was the last time they met each other.
Later, he witnessed the destruction at the Black Party from the outside, but misinterprets it as part of the party.
